Pre-hire
INITIAL STRATEGY CALL
Discovery call to describe details of the role—here’s where we’ll get to know you and your needs a bit more, so that we’re able to determine exactly what your ideal candidate looks like.
RECRUITMENT
In this stage, we create a job description for your role and post it on various international job boards to source candidates. Our local team then screens applicants and schedules interviews with top candidates. Those who perform well in the initial interview move on to a skills assessment, where we test their communication skills, professionalism, and other soft skills. From there, those that seem like the best fit are scheduled for an interview with YOU so you get final say on whether it’s a good match!
VETTING
In this stage, we do our due diligence to make sure our chosen candidate is the real deal. We conduct professional reference checks, and sometimes even meet with the candidate in person—all to make sure your relationship will be a success.
Hiring Period
TRAINING
During this stage, we provide the candidate with hands-on training designed to bridge cultural gaps—with a focus on developing communication skills and ensuring they’re up to speed on business practices specific to the North American working environment. The goal? To make it feel like working with your international hire is no different than if they were any of your local employees.
ONBOARDING
The first three months of your hire fall under a probationary onboarding period—during which the employee is working for your company, but you’re still determining whether it’s the perfect fit. In this time, the employer (that’s you!) is primarily responsible for training the employee—just like you would any local new hire. That being said: we’re there to support you, checking in regularly with both you and your new hire to ensure things are going smoothly and to bridge any communication gaps.
Ongoing Support
COMPLIANCE, PAYMENTS, AND ADMIN
After the initial onboarding, we are less involved in the day-to-day of your relationship with your new hire, but will still be responsible for international payments and other administrative aspects of international employment so you never have to worry about maintaining compliance. In addition, we provide ongoing soft-skills and professional development training sessions for your hires so their value only continues to increase!
